Texas High School Football - Fort Bend Willowridge edged by Rudder

The Rudder Rangers got by the visiting Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles football squad by a margin of 24-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rangers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a 5A-2 Region III District 10 test on Thursday, October 9. Rudder will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 35-28 non-league loss to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Fort Bend Willowridge drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Stafford (Stafford, TX) to meet the Spartans in a 4A-1 Region III District 12 test on Friday, October 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-4. Stafford lost 31-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)
