Georgia High School Football - Stephens County tips Franklin County

September 26, 2025: Toccoa, GA 30577

The Stephens County Indians edged the visiting Franklin County Lions football team by a score of 24-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians face the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a AA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Stephens County will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 31-28 league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA).

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles enter the AA Region 8 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, East Jackson was edged by Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA), 55-10, in a league challenge.
