The Frederick Cadets edged the visiting Middletown Knights football team by a score of 17-14 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Cadets now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Linganore for a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. Frederick will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Lancers record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Middletown drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tuscarora (Frederick, MD) to clash with the Titans in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The Titans enter the game with a record of 2-2. Tuscarora won 38-31 in their recent non-league game against Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD)
