May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team crush the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 38-0 in a non-league test.

The Sharks now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Colleton County for a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 3. May River will play a Cougars team coming off a 51-0 non-league loss to Stratford (Goose Creek, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-4.

The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors go into the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Waccamaw bounced Stall (Charleston, SC), 42-12, in a non-league test.
