The Hillsboro Trojans football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Halstead Dragons to 13 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ellsworth for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Hillsboro will face a Bearcats team coming off a 50-3 league win over Lyons (Lyons, KS). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-0.

The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Minneapolis toppled Norton (Norton, KS), 28-7, in a league test.
