The Trinity Christian Crusaders football squad (Fayetteville, NC), was trounced 44-8 in Friday's non-league contest with the host High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC)

The Cougars (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles enter the NCISAA Big 6 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, SouthLake Christian Academy crushed Anderson Cavaliers (Anderson, SC), 49-24, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Crusaders battle the Wayne Christian Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 3. Trinity Christian will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 21-20 non-league win over South Wake (Apex, NC).
