Game Story

California High School Football - Leigh tops Silver Creek

September 26, 2025: San Jose, CA 95121

The Leigh Longhorns football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Silver Creek Raiders to 14 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Christopher for a Mount Hamilton test on Thursday, October 9. Leigh will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 28-6 non-league win over Overfelt (San Jose, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Silver Creek drops to 2-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Gilroy lost 48-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
