The Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI) football knocked off the visiting Parkway Christian Eagles (Sterling Heights, MI), 50-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Crusaders now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lutheran for a Michigan Independent outing on Friday, October 3. Lutheran Northwest will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 63-7 league loss to Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Parkway Christian drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI) to clash with the Lancers in a Michigan Independent outing on Friday, October 3. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Oakland Christian won 27-20 in their recent non-league outing against Benton Harbor (Benton Harbor, MI)
