California High School Football - Mission Bay nips Montgomery

September 26, 2025: San Diego, CA 92109

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), witnessed Mission Bay's football squad edge Montgomery by a tally of 21-20.

The Buccaneers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Patriots enter the City contest with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Patrick Henry nudged Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 48-16, in a non-league bout.

The Aztecs now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Ysidro for a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. Montgomery will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 24-21 non-league win over Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
