California High School Football - Stevenson tops Monte Vista Christian

September 26, 2025: Watsonville, CA 95076

The Stevenson Pirates football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs to 25 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Stevenson will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 24-20 non-league win over Soledad (Soledad, CA).

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Greenfield lost by San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA), 20-0, in a non-league test.
