The New London-Spicer Wildcats walloped the visiting Montevideo Thunderhawks football team by a score of 55-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a Mid West Central - Black challenge, on Friday, October 3. New London-Spicer will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Lakers go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 32-28 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).

With the defeat, Montevideo drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Thunderhawks travel to Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN) to meet the Chargers in a Mid West Central - Black test on Friday, October 3. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Dassel-Cokato won 42-28 in their recent league test against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN)
