September 26, 2025: South Weymouth, MA 02190 The Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) football trounced the visiting New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), 34-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milton for a Bay State - Herget outing on Friday, October 3. Weymouth will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 34-8 non-league win over Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, New Bedford drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Whalers host Quincy (Quincy, MA) to battle the Presidents in a non-league contest on Friday, October 3. The Presidents enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Quincy won 27-19 in their recent non-league bout against Stoughton (Stoughton, MA)
