The Rondout Valley Ganders football team (Accord, NY), dropped 19-8 in Friday's league bout with the visiting New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY)

With the win, New Paltz betters its record to 1-3 on the year. The Huguenots host Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to battle the Raiders in a Section 9 B-1 contest on Saturday, October 4. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 4-0. Port Jervis won 62-0 in their recent league contest against Liberty (Liberty, NY)

Coming up next, the Ganders battle the Liberty Redhawks (Liberty, NY) in a Section 9 B-1 contest, on Saturday, October 4. Rondout Valley will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 62-0 league loss to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY).
