The Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS) football were winner over the visiting St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles (Cordova, TN), 31-18 in Friday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. George's for a Division II-AA West game on Friday, October 3. Northpoint Christian will battle a Gryphons team coming off a 48-16 non-league win over KIPP Collegiate (Memphis, TN). The Gryphons record now stands at 5-1.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their game against St. George's (Collierville, TN). The Gryphons come into the Division II-AA West game with a 5-1 record.
