Kansas High School Football - Wabaunsee thwarted by Olpe
September 26, 2025: Alma, KS 66401 Olpe Eagles (Olpe, KS) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), 35-7 in a league match.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Eagles come into the Flint Hills battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Maranatha Christian Academy was dropped by Rossville (Rossville, KS), 69-0, in a non-league battle.
The Chargers now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Cair Paravel for a Flint Hills battle on Friday, October 3. Wabaunsee will play a Lions team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
