Pennsylvania High School Football - Salisbury Township nudged by Pen Argyl

In Friday's league outing, the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) football squad tipped the host Salisbury Township Falcons (Allentown, PA), by a margin of 20-19.

The Green Knights now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial-Schuylkill - B outing on Saturday, October 4. Pen Argyl will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 40-21 league win over Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Salisbury Township drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA) to battle the Panthers in a Colonial-Schuylkill - B game on Friday, October 3. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 3-3. Saucon Valley won 49-26 in their recent league game against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA)
