September 26, 2025: Pascagoula, MS 39567 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) and the host Resurrection Catholic Eagles (Pascagoula, MS), witnessed St. Patrick's football squad knock off Resurrection Catholic by a tally of 36-13.
The Fighting Irish (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region 8 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Presbyterian Christian beat Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS), 28-7, in a non-league bout.
The Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Richton for a 1A Region 8 bout on Friday, October 3. Resurrection Catholic will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 36-14 non-league loss to South Choctaw Academy (Toxey, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 3-2.
