In Friday's league game, the Yulee Hornets (Yulee, FL) football team overcame the visiting Ribault Trojans (Jacksonville, FL), by a tally of 34-14.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Fernandina Beach Pirates (Fernandina Beach, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 10. Yulee will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Pirates come into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 32-21 league loss to West Nassau (Callahan, FL).

With the defeat, Ribault drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Raines (Jacksonville, FL) to clash with the Vikings in a 3A District 3 outing on Saturday, October 4. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 4-0. Raines won 49-0 in their recent non-league contest against Riverside (Jacksonville, FL)
