The Round Mountain Knights edged the visiting Sandy Valley Sidewinders football team by a score of 12-6 in Friday's league test.

The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beatty for a 1A Southern (8 Man) test on Friday, October 10. Round Mountain will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 20-6 league loss to Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV). The Hornets record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Sandy Valley falls to 2-2 on the year. The Sidewinders travel to Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league game on Friday, October 3.
