September 26, 2025: Salem, MA 01970 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Salem Witches (Salem, MA) and the visiting Whittier RVT Wildcats (Haverhill, MA), saw Salem's football team nip Whittier RVT by a final score of 20-14.
With the win, Salem advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Witches host Gloucester (Gloucester, MA) to encounter the Fishermen in a Northeastern - South bout on Friday, October 3. The Fishermen go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Gloucester won 34-33 in their recent non-league contest against Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA)
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Nashoba Valley Tech Vikings (Westford, MA) in a Commonwealth - Small contest, on Thursday, October 9.
