The Sandy Creek Cougars were victorious over the host Thayer Central Titans football team by a score of 45-22 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) in a D1 District 7 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 3. Sandy Creek will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 34-26 league win over Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE).
