In Friday's non-league outing, the Skyview Wolverines (Thornton, CO) football squad knocked off the visiting The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO), by a margin of 24-14.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conifer for a 3A West Metro outing on Friday, October 10.

With the defeat, The Academy drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Sterling (Sterling, CO) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A League 7 outing on Thursday, October 2. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Sterling lost 42-21 in their recent non-league outing against Platte Valley (Kersey, CO)
