The South County Stallions football team (Lorton, VA), was tipped 28-27 in Friday's league bout with the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA)

With the victory, West Springfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Patriot match on Friday, October 3. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 1-3. Woodson lost 23-21 in their recent league battle against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)

The Stallions now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfax for a Patriot battle on Friday, October 3. South County will play a Lions team coming off a 35-3 league win over West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
