Mississippi High School Football - Washington overwhelmed by Tri-County Academy

The Tri-County Academy Rebels walloped the visiting Washington Generals football team by a score of 48-12 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rebels now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Tri-County Academy will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Christian Home Educators Fellowship (Baton Rouge, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Washington drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN) to clash with the Wolves in a MAIS 3A District 1 outing on Friday, October 3. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Rossville Christian Academy lost 35-19 in their recent non-league outing against Regents (Oxford, MS)
