In Friday's league match, the host West Holmes Knights football squad scored a decisive 39-6 victory over the Wooster Generals.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen enter the Ohio Cardinal match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Lexington routed Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH), 48-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Generals confront the Dover Crimson Tornadoes (Dover, OH) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 3. Wooster will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record.
