In Friday's non-league match, the host New Designs University Park Cardinals flag football squad scored a good 12-0 victory over the Chavez Eagles.

With the win, New Designs University Park advances its record to 7-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Simon Tech (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Huskies in a Metro battle on Monday, October 6. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 1-4.
