The Huntington Beach Oilers felled the visiting McClatchy Lions flag football team by a score of 27-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Oilers meet the Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Huntington Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Barristers come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 40-0 non-league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, McClatchy drops to 13-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Western Christian (Upland, CA) to meet the Fighting Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, September 26.
