In Friday's non-league match, the host Amador Valley Dons football squad scored a close 12-7 triumph over the Foothill Falcons.

The Dons (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Gaels come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Dublin was nudged by Freedom (Oakley, CA), 35-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons meet the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) in a match, on Friday, October 10. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
