September 26, 2025: Linden, CA 95236 The Linden Lions (Linden, CA) football trounced the visiting Big Valley Christian Lions (Modesto, CA), 37-0 in Friday's league outing.
The Lions now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Islands for a game on Friday, October 3. Linden will battle a Riptide team coming off a 47-8 league loss to Calaveras (San Andreas, CA). The Riptide record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Big Valley Christian drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to clash with the Bullfrogs in a contest on Friday, October 3. The Bullfrogs enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Bret Harte lost 13-7 in their recent non-league contest against El Camino (Sacramento, CA)
