Illinois High School Football - Evanston can't hold off Maine South
September 26, 2025: Park Ridge, IL 60068 The Maine South Hawks got by the visiting Evanston Wildkits football team by a score of 14-13 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hawks now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Maine South will meet a Trevians squad coming off a 29-12 non-league win over Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Evanston drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildkits host Barrington (Barrington, IL) to meet the Fillies/Broncos in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Fillies/Broncos come into the test with a record of 2-4.
