California High School Football - Pacific Grove can't hold off Watsonville
September 26, 2025: Watsonville, CA 95076 Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA), 14-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Watsonville improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Wildcatz travel to King City (King City, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Breakers now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host North Monterey County for a battle on Friday, October 3. Pacific Grove will play a Condors team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA). The Condors record now stands at 0-1.
