September 26, 2025: Providence, RI 02903

East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Classical Purple (Providence, RI), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, East Providence moves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Townies host Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI) to clash with the Patriots in a Division 1 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-5. Portsmouth 1-1 in their recent league test against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)

The Purple now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a Division 1 test on Wednesday, October 1. Classical will play a Clippers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI). The Clippers record now stands at 5-2.
