St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC), 5-2 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Our Lady of Good Counsel tipped DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) test, on Wednesday, October 1. Gonzaga will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record.
