Illinois High School Soccer - Stagg knocks off Springfield
September 26, 2025: Springfield, IL 62704 The Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) soccer overwhelmed the host Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL), 4-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Chargers now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Union Grove for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. Stagg will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Burlington (Burlington, WI). The Broncos record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Springfield moves to 10-6 on the year. The Senators host Rochester (Rochester, IL) to encounter the Rockets in a Central State Eight challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Rochester lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
