Georgia High School Softball - North Oconee gets by Pope
September 26, 2025: Bogart, GA 30677 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) and the visiting Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA), observed North Oconee's softball team get by Pope by a tally of 5-4.
The Titans (10-11) will now prepare for their bout against Eastside (Covington, GA). The Eagles go into the 4A Region 8 bout with a 19-0 record. In their last bout, Eastside tipped Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA), 5-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) in a 5A Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, September 30. Pope will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 7-1 league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
