Texas High School Volleyball - Grace Community over Austin
September 26, 2025: Tyler, TX 75701 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX) and the visiting Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), saw Grace Community's volleyball squad notch a victory over Austin by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Grace Community improves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX) to encounter the Guard in a TAPPS 5A District 2 battle on Thursday, October 2. The Guard go into the battle with a record of 12-10. Brook Hill lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Regents (Austin, TX)
The Mustangs now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carnegie Vanguard for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, September 26. Austin will encounter a Rhinos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Westbury (Houston, TX). The Rhinos record now stands at 14-5.
