Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Melrose upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Goddard (Roswell, NM) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Goddard won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clovis (Clovis, NM)

Next, the Jaguars play the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lovington (Lovington, NM).
