Washington, DC High School Volleyball - MacArthur can't get by Maret
September 26, 2025: Washington, DC 20008 Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting MacArthur Mammoths (Washington, DC), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maret improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Frogs host Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) to meet the Quakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Quakers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next, the Mammoths meet the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC).
