With the win, Mildred advances its record to 21-9 on the season. The Eagles host Cayuga (Cayuga, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 21 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-18.

The Tigers (12-17) will now prepare for their game against Athens (Athens, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 11-17 record.
