With the win, Owensboro Catholic advances its record to 17-8 on the season. The Aces travel to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to face the Defenders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. The Defenders go into the test with a record of 12-10. Bryan Station lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette (Lexington, KY)
The Panthers now sport a 13-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Portland will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 9-6.
