With the triumph, New Bern improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to confront the Monarchs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Northside - Jacksonville lost 44-26 in their recent non-league test against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)
With the loss, South Central drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Havelock (Havelock, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, October 13. The Rams come into the test with a record of 6-0.
