Washington High School Volleyball - Anacortes over Lakewood
September 27, 2022: Anacortes, WA 98221 Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Seahawks battle the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match, on Thursday, September 29. Anacortes will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA).
With the loss, Lakewood drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Blaine (Blaine, WA) to battle the Borderites in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Tuesday, October 11. The Borderites come into the match with a record of 0-6. Blaine lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
