September 27, 2022: Elida, NM 88116 The Elida Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Carrizozo Grizzlies to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Jon for a non-league game on Thursday, September 29. Elida will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dora (Dora, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 2-9.
The Grizzlies (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mountaineers enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Reserve dropped by Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
