September 27, 2022: El Paso, TX 79903 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Loretto Angels (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX), saw Loretto's volleyball squad beat Tornillo by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Loretto upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Angels travel to Anthony (Anthony, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, September 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
The Coyotes now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Kermit for a 3A Region I District 4 bout on Saturday, October 1. Tornillo will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Alpine (Alpine, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-22.
