September 27, 2023: Penn Laird, VA 22846 Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) fans left the game content Wednesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 65-35 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Spotswood improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Trailblazers travel to East Rockingham (Elkton, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 4. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-5. East Rockingham lost 22-12 in their recent non-league test against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
With the loss, Broadway drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Gobblers host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 4. The Knights come into the test with a record of 5-0. Turner Ashby won 29-0 in their recent non-league test against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)
