September 27, 2023: Vanceboro, NC 28586 The East Carteret Mariners volleyball team (Beaufort, NC), went down 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC)
The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Farmville Central defeated Washington (Washington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mariners encounter the Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. East Carteret will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC).
