September 27, 2023: Alton, IL 62002 The McCluer North Stars soccer team (Florissant, MO), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL)
With the win, Alton advances its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Redbirds host Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to play the Maroons in a Southwestern outing on Thursday, September 28. The Maroons go into the outing with a record of 7-4.
In their next game, the Stars play the McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs (Ferguson, MO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 28. McCluer North will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to University City (St. Louis, MO).
