Iowa High School Football - Treynor tops AHSTW
September 27, 2024: Treynor, IA 51575 The Treynor Cardinals football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting AHSTW Vikings to 7 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Underwood for a 1A District 8 test on Friday, October 4. Treynor will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 28-7 league win over Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, AHSTW drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA) to meet the Big Reds in a 1A District 8 test on Friday, October 4. The Big Reds come into the test with a record of 0-5. Missouri Valley lost 44-6 in their recent league test against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA)
