In Friday's league match, the host Talihina Golden Tigers football squad scored a good 28-8 victory over the Allen Mustangs.

The Golden Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Gore (Gore, OK). The Pirates enter the A-II District 3 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Gore thwarted Mounds (Mounds, OK), 22-18, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK) in a A-II District 3 match, on Friday, October 4. Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 22-18 league loss to Gore (Gore, OK).
