The Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS) football knocked off the visiting Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS), 66-43 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Peabody-Burns Warriors (Peabody, KS) in a 6-Man North (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Marais des Cygnes Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 58-20 non-league win over Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS).
